Reservation Rule Configuration Overview

Select the desired rule to be created or modified from the options below:

  • Min Days in Advance Rule
    Set the minimum number of days from today's date that customers can book their reservation into the future for regular Unit Types.
  • Booking Access Restriction Setup
    Configure when a user can make reservations for a specified time period. For example, customers can only start making reservations for May 1 - December 31 no earlier than February 1st.
  • Prescribed Check Out Day(s) Rules
    Manage which day(s) guests can check out on. For example, a customer can check out between Monday to Saturday but not on Sunday.
  • Prescribed Check In Day(s) Rules
    Manage which day(s) guests can check in on. For example, a customer can check in between Monday to Friday but not Saturday or Sunday.
  • Prescribed Length of Stay Rule
    Set a specific length of stay for all reservations occurring during a set timeframe, such as 3 nights, 4 nights, or 7 nights only.
  • Grace Period Booking Rule
    Allow for a set number of day(s) between reservations. Ideal for Unit Types that require a day between reservations for tasks like full day cleaning or rest period of camping sites.
  • Min & Max Length of Stay
    Restrict the minimum and maximum allowed length of reservations between specified time frames based on configured criteria.
  • Future Date Cutoff
    Restrict bookings after a specified date.
  • Max Days in Advance
    Restrict the number of days into the future that customers can book their reservations for regular Unit Types.
  • Min Days in Advance Check In Change
    Restrict users from adjusting their check-in dates when the current reservation's check-in date is less than the specified amount of days from today's date.
  • Max Days in Advance Check In Change
    Restrict users from adjusting their check-in dates when the current reservation's check-in date is more than the specified amount of days from today's date.
  • Max Reservations Per Day Across Unit Types
    Set the maximum number of reservations that may be made across selected unit types each day during a specified period.
  • Max Occupants per Day
    Set the maximum number of occupants allowed on site per day for a selected date range. For example, restrict the number to 50 people allowed on the property, regardless of the number of reservations.
  • Down To The Minute - Booking Rules
    Create booking rules to meet your Down to the Minute Booking rules and restrictions. Rules apply to both the staff Availability Grid and the customers’ Online Availability Grid. Staff may override the rule if required; customers purchasing online must follow the rule.
