Resolving Reservation Conflicts Despite Availability

This document addresses the issue of being unable to make a reservation despite visible availability.

Prerequisites

  • Access to the reservation system grid
  • Knowledge of unit types and their assignments

Steps

  1. Check for Conflicts:
    - Click on the unit type on the grid to identify any conflicts.
    - If a conflict exists, proceed to the next step.
  2. Resolve Conflicts:
    - Un-assign the unit(s) in question.
    - Check for any pencil-ins that may have been created on the unit in question.
    - The system should automatically sort the conflict once these steps are completed.

  • It is advisable to manage inventory during peak periods.
  • Regularly review unassigned pencil-ins to prevent future conflicts.
