This document explains the differences between Single Client/Single Account and Single Client/Multi Account configurations for group bookings.

Prerequisites

  • Understanding of group booking processes
  • Familiarity with payment responsibilities in booking systems

Steps

Single Client/Single Account

  • Payment Responsibility: The client is responsible for all payments.
  • Reservation Charges:
  • Charges are displayed in the Group Booking Summary under the Charges/Payments tab.
  • Individual bookings do not display reservation charges in their Charges/Payments tab.

Single Client/Multi Account

  • Payment Responsibility: Each booking client is responsible for their own booking payment.
  • Reservation Charges:
  • Charges are displayed on each individual booking's Charges/Payments tab.
  • No charges are displayed at the Group Booking Summary level.

Troubleshooting

  • Adjusting Settings:
  • Settings cannot be adjusted if any deposits have been converted.
  • Settings can be adjusted at any time prior to check-in on unpaid group bookings.
  • Once any reservation within the group has been checked in, settings cannot be adjusted.
