Generating Credit Card Tokens via Public Payment

Overview
Card Blanche does not store a credit card token through the terminal. Tokens are only stored when entered from the system's API. You can utilize the Public Payment option to obtain a token for this card.
Prerequisites
- Access to the Guest Folio for the reservation.
- Email address of the cardholder.
Steps
- Access the Guest Folio for the reservation.
- Navigate to the Charges/Payments tab.
- Click on the Public Payment button.
- In the Amount field, enter the amount as $0. - Click the Submit button. This action will generate a unique link.
- To send the link to the cardholder, click on the Email button.
- By default, the system will auto-select the email associated with the client's information.
- If you need to use an alternate email, select the second radio button. - Enter the desired email address.
- Click Select to send the email with the generated link to the cardholder. This will enable them to enter their card details and create a token for future use.
Troubleshooting
- Ensure the email address entered is correct to avoid sending the link to the wrong recipient.
- Verify that the amount entered is $0 to generate the link without processing a payment.
