Client Site Transfer with Different Base Rate

This document provides guidance on handling situations where a client, after checking into a site, requests to be moved to another site with a different base rate.

Prerequisites

  • Access to the reservation system.
  • Understanding of reservation cancellation and rebooking processes.

Steps

  1. Cancel and Remake the Reservation
    - Cancel the existing reservation.
    - Remake the reservation for the new site.
  2. Apply Price Difference
    - Use the sale button to apply the difference in price to the reservation.
  3. Reverse and Reapply Reservation Charge
    - Reverse the reservation charge.
    - Reapply the charge under the appropriate Unit Type product using the sale button.

Troubleshooting

  • Reservation on Second Day or Later:
  • If the reservation is on the second day or later, split the reservation.
  • The second reservation will automatically calculate the pricing for the new unit type.
  • Note: The first section of the reservation retains the original cost and must be adjusted accordingly.
