Transferring Money to Accounts Receivable

Overview
This document provides instructions on how to transfer money to Accounts Receivable.
Prerequisites
- Ensure you have access to the Account Manager or the client's Client File.
Steps
- Create an Account Receivable Account:
- Use the Account Manager to create an Account Receivable account for the client.
- Alternatively, enable the "Activate Account Receivables" flag within the client's Client File. - Enable AR Transfer Payment Type:
- Once the Account Receivable account is created, a new payment type, "AR Transfer," will become available for that client. - Transfer Funds:
- From the Guest Folio, select "AR Transfer" as the payment type.
- The balance/credit on the reservation will be transferred to the client’s Account Receivable.
Troubleshooting
- If the "AR Transfer" payment type is not available, verify that the Account Receivable account has been correctly created or that the "Activate Account Receivables" flag is enabled.
