Setting Up Occupant Base Rates

Overview

• Base Rate combinations for 2 persons can be accommodated across all occupant types.
• The new setup option "Default (Base Price) Occupant" allows pricing of 1 Adult and 1 Child the same as 2 Adults.

Prerequisites

• Ensure that the Unit Types have their Incl values set during creation.

Steps

1. Occupant Set-up

• Select "Default (Base Price) Occupant" for one occupant type, e.g., Adult.
• This ensures the count is used before extra occupant charges are added.

2. Unit Type Set-up

• No changes are needed in Unit Type Set-up if Incl values are already set.
• Note: The count is the total value of included occupants set for each individual unit type.

3. Reservation Charges

• When this option is selected, any occupant combination up to the Incl value will be charged at the Base rate set in Rate Set-up.
• Extra occupants added after the Incl value will incur additional charges.
