Adding Units to Inventory Unit Type

Overview

This guide provides instructions on how to add units to an existing unit type within the inventory setup.

Prerequisites

  • Access to the inventory setup menu.

Steps

  1. Click on the Menu button.
  2. Select the Setup tab.
  3. Click on Inventory Setup.
  4. Select the unit type you wish to edit.
  5. Click on the Add Units button.
  6. Enter the number of units you wish to add.
  7. In the Start # field, enter the next number in the sequence.
    - Example: If the unit type already has 50 units, enter 55.
  8. If the unit type allows custom unit labels, edit these additional units' labels in the Unit tab.

Troubleshooting

  • Ensure you have the correct permissions to access and edit the inventory setup.
  • Verify that the unit type selected is the correct one before adding units.
